Live the life you want, not the life you feel.

We all face barriers in reaching our full potential. These barriers can be a result of depression, anxiety, or a recent stressful experience. Or perhaps the barrier is more of a self imposed limit of doubt and negativity. Whatever the cause, these barriers can often manifest as problems sleeping, unhealthy habits such as overeating or skipping exercise, relationship conflict, or just feeling lost or stuck in a rut. However, what if we consider these symptoms as a signal that our mind is seeking growth towards something greater? Virtual counseling at Neumo can provide the tools and environment to nuture such growth.

Neumo partners with clients in online therapy sessions to consider solutions, develop a plan, and take action. Through hardship comes self confidence and peace of mind that you can face whatever may come next in your journey.

My name is Evan Neufeld, and I am the owner and clinician of Neumo, LLC since I opened the doors in 2015. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with training and experience in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). Simply put, I focus on the connection between thoughts, behaviors, and emotions (see resources tab for more information). From this simple concept, we can identify barriers, brainstorm solutions, review coping skills, and reach goals. I have 16 years of experience using scientifically proven skills and tools to help clients achieve their goals.

Using virtual therapy to explore solutions in all areas of life.

As a result of my experience as a member of an integrated care team, I believe in a whole person approach to treatment. This means I consider all parts of your life to promote health and happiness. During those 16 years, I have acquired certifications in CBT for Insomnia (CBT-i), biofeedback, pain management, diabetes management, and integrated care. With an additional certificate in virtual counseling, I look forward to being able to connect with more adults in Colorado.

With online counseling now available in Colorado, change has never been easier to access.

Seeing a healthcare provider from home is now a popular way to get healthy. As a result, recent research has demonstrated the value of telehealth (see resources tab for links to studies). This means that you can find quality virtual counseling in Colorado from anywhere you have access to the internet. Consider the benefits. First of all, you could avoid traffic to and from an office. Moreover, if you work in an office, you could use your lunch hour for therapy rather than having to take time off work. By the same token, you would have access to more providers than those that are local to you. Not to mention avoiding the stress and anxiety of a crowded waiting room. In short, online counseling has given us the opportunity to seek wellness in an easier and more comfortable way.

Using technology to keep your information safe

Neumo only uses fully encrypted HIPAA compliant technologies to ensure your information is kept as safe as possible. This includes the storage of your information, the virtual rooms we meet in, and any other communication we may have. As mentioned above, your comfort in this process is very important.

As with any important partnership, it is important to speak with your provider to make sure virtual counseling is right for you. Contact Neumo today for a free consult!
